First Day Blogging

So today I decided to capture my thoughts and feelings on a webpage. I am required to keep a diary at the clinic, so I figured I might as well write it also online for keepsakes. I started posting pictures on Instagram, from my journey, but this might be even better. What definitely is better is that I had to play around Wix and Facebook all day long, so I wasn't bored at all and the day simply flew by. We will be having dinner soon and I am nowhere finished with all this blogging stuff, which is cool. Thus today I haven't had much anxiety, because I truly stayed in the NOW and HERE ZONE (as I like to call it). It was also recommended by my doctor today, because the second I start thinking what the future holds for me I get frustrated and incredibly anxious and then I have even more trouble eating. Today I have been eating pretty well. I didn't eat much for breakfast, but I ate the whole lunch and probably will eat dinner as well. I have been thinking about purging after lunch, but I managed to keep the food in thanks to my new blogging idea. It really is very important to stay busy so that I don't think too much about the grams I gain from every bite that I eat. I will try to include pictures of daily food here as well as a reminder of what a good and solid portion looks like. Today we also had an Educational Group, where our psychologist talked about eating disorders and how we are expected to follow the set rules by the clinic. She talked about the importance of eating every 2-3 hours and how we should really get used to the regime. Breakfast 8:00am (at least two bread rolls, or equivalent of carbs), morning snack 10:00am (fruit or yoghurt), lunch 12:00pm (soup and protein with carbs, i.e. chicken breast with rice), afternoon snack 3:00pm (fruit or yoghurt), dinner 5:00pm (protein with carbs, i.e. tofu with potatoes), evening snack 7:15pm (again fruit or yoghurt). It's meant to keep us not hungry, but still in control over our disordered thinking. She emphasized the importance of keeping this regiment as if we were diabetics, for example. It's, plain and simple, a tool for staying and feeling healthy and sane :). I will most likely continue playing around the web with my new blog for the rest of the day so I am pretty excited about that. Hopefully it will keep me happy for longer periods of time. I also have to prepare my Insta picture set of the day, so I really do have a bunch to do. It's exciting. Hopefully someone will come across my page and join me on my journey to a better life.
